West on I-70 to State Hwy 91 (Copper Mt/Leadville Exit) and south to Leadville.
Follow Hwy 24 south out of Leadville to State Hwy 82 (toward
Aspen/Independence Pass) and turn right (west). Within a mile, look for a
bank of mailboxes on your right, County Road 10. Turn right here up the
hill on a paved road.
When the pavement ends at the next intersection, take the first left fork gravel
road alongside a hill on your right. Continue about 1/2 mile until you see
sign for Pan Ark (subdivision). The road turns right steeply up the hill.
There will be intersecting roads coming in from the left -- Ignore all of
them and continue right up the hill. At the top, the road makes a 90-degree
turn left and becomes Parry Peak Drive. About 1/4 mile you will come to 161
Parry Peak on your right -- a log house with a stairway up to the front
door.
